Artist and musician Richard Phoenix discusses Do Your Own Thing, his new book honouring underground arts and culture, with Robert Diament

Saluting DIY culture in all its vital, playful glory, Richard Phoenix sounds off on his polyphonic new book Do Your Own Thing, which takes its title from a club for young creatives run by learning disability arts organisation Heart n Soul.

He'll chat with Robert Diament (Carl Freedman Gallery / Counter Editions / Talk Art) about what it really means to 'do it yourself', and the challenges of making art in terms of access and support. Demonstrating the Do Your Own Thing ethos in action, Heart n Soul alumnus Sebastian will also give a very special live performance.
